Emma – Salon Manager
Emma has been with GREYS since 2007 and became Salon Manager at our Hitchin salon in 2015. Originally inspired by her Mum, who was also a hairdresser, Emma pursued her hairdressing passion at the age of 14. She has worked with L’Oréal and Kerastase her whole career completing many of their courses. Her main love about her job is her clients who become friends over the years. Emma also oversees the training for our apprentices and hopes to encourage their passion too.
Elaine – Head Stylist
Elaine is one of our longer-standing stylists being part of the GREYS family since 1996 in a variety of roles! She loves meeting new people and enjoys making them feel happy. Elaine’s infectious laugh can be heard throughout the salon and her attention to detail leaves an effortless timeless finish on all her clients!
Alice- Head Stylist
Alice joined Greys in 2021 with 10 years experience in the industry. Previously a colour technician with Goldwell achieving their Colour Masters qualification, she is a confident and skilled colourist specialising in blondes, balayage and ‘lived in’ colour. During an appointment with Alice, you can expect excellent customer service, attention to detail with both colour and cutting, a wealth of knowledge and a relaxing experience. When she’s not in the salon, Alice enjoys exploring new places, often finding inspiration in the people, style, and natural beauty she encounters on her travels.
Josh – Head Stylist
Josh has been part of the GREYS team since 2022 and loves creating different shapes and textures with his cuts. He’s a great colourist and enjoys softer more natural looks as well as more creative bold colours. He prides himself on his customer service ensuring that every client is attentively cared for and will always go above and beyond to ensure his clients are always satisfied.
Olivia – Principle Stylist
Olivia is one of our part-time stylists who has a real eye for detail, she has a passion for cutting & styling hair, and with over 15 years in the hair industry, she has been part of our Greys family for 11 years. Olivia enjoys creating natural, blended, sun-kissed hair through Balayage.
Emily – Graduate Stylist
Emily has been with Greys since 2020 when she was just 14, helping after school and has now completed her training with us. She is a creative girl and is keen to develop and learn in all aspects of hairdressing. She would love to assist at London Fashion week one day. Emily loves being able to create soft and natural colours. Watch this space as she progresses through her career.
Nancy – Second Year Apprentice
Nancy joined us in 2022 as a Saturday assistant and is now one of our full-time apprentices in her second year of training. Nancy also gives a great head massage and is excelling in all aspects of her training so far.
Emily R – First Year Apprentice
Emily joined us in September for the start of her apprenticeship and Greys training program. Emily loves being creative and is following in her mum’s footsteps. As a curly girl herself she is keen to specialise in curly hair in the future.
