Emma – Salon Manager
Emma has been with GREYS since 2007 and became Salon Manager at our Hitchin salon in 2015. Originally inspired by her Mum, who was also a hairdresser, Emma pursued her hairdressing passion at the age of 14. She has worked with L’Oréal and Kerastase her whole career completing many of their courses. Her main love about her job is her clients who become friends over the years. Emma also oversees the training for our apprentices and hopes to encourage their passion too.
Elaine – Head Stylist
Elaine is one of our longer-standing stylists being part of the GREYS family since 1996 in a variety of roles! She loves meeting new people and enjoys making them feel happy. Elaine’s infectious laugh can be heard throughout the salon and her attention to detail leaves an effortless timeless finish on all her clients!
Alice – Head Stylist
Alice joined Greys in 2021 with 10 years experience in the industry. Previously a colour technician with Goldwell achieving their Colour Masters qualification, she is a confident and skilled colourist specialising in blondes, balayage and ‘lived in’ colour. During an appointment with Alice, you can expect excellent customer service, attention to detail with both colour and cutting, a wealth of knowledge and a relaxing experience. When she’s not in the salon, Alice enjoys exploring new places, often finding inspiration in the people, style, and natural beauty she encounters on her travels.
Josh – Head Stylist
Josh has been part of the GREYS team since 2022 and loves creating different shapes and textures with his cuts. He’s a great colourist and enjoys softer more natural looks as well as more creative bold colours. He prides himself on his customer service ensuring that every client is attentively cared for and will always go above and beyond to ensure his clients are always satisfied.
Sarah – Senior Stylist
Sarah is a Blonde & Balayage Specialist. With over 7 years of experience, she has mastered the art of creating bespoke, dimensional colour and is celebrated for her precision, creativity and signature touch that leaves hair glowing with health and shine. Sarah’s philosophy is simple: enhance your natural beauty while keeping your hair glossy, radiant and full of life. From bright, icy blondes to soft creamy tones and effortless lived-in balayage. Sarah tailors each look to suit your features and lifestyle. Pairing her technical expertise with a warm, down-to-earth approach, Sarah ensures every appointment feels like a luxury experience and every client leaves feeling confident, refreshed and truly cared for.
Francesca – Stylist
After relocating from South London, she’s ready to bring her creativity, passion and award-winning talent to our clients. Francesca has already made her mark in the industry, winning the L’Oreal Colour Trophy Future Talent Award 2024 and becoming a Rising Star Award Finalist 2025. Her favourite aspect of hairdressing is working with blondes and balayage, where she enjoys creating soft, seamless colour tailored to each client. We cannot wait to see what she creates next.
Emily – Stylist
Her journey in hairdressing began at just 14 years old , when she first stepped into the salon as a trainee in 2020. From those early days, she developed a strong foundation in the industry, gaining hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the craft in the same salon she continues to call home today. Since beginning her professional career at the salon, she has grown into a confident and skilled stylist, known for her attention to detail and personalised approach. She is passionate about creating looks that enhance each client’s natural style, while staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques.
Nancy – Graduate Stylist
Nancy is a newly qualified stylist with a real passion for hair. She loves creating a bouncy blow-dry and enjoys working with tinting to enhance natural colour and shine. Friendly and enthusiastic, Nancy is all about helping clients feel confident and leave the salon looking their best. She started with us in 2022 as a Saturday trainee and has worked hard to complete apprenticeship and now she’s officially beginning her career as a stylist. We couldn’t be happier to have her continue growing with us and know she will go far.
Ruby – First Year Apprentice
Ruby began her apprenticeship with us in September 2025. She is very enthusiastic and eager to learn. She loves observing the stylists to help her pick up techniques and improve her skills. Ruby loves chatting with the clients, which is essential in this industry to ensure clients receive the best service.
