Emma – Salon Manager
Emma has been with Greys for 15 years and became manager at our Hitchin salon in 2015. Originally inspired by her Mum, who was also a hairdresser, Emma pursued her hairdressing passion at the age of 14. She has worked with L’Oréal and Kerastase her whole career completing many of their courses. Her main love about her job is her clients who become friends over the years.
Emma also oversees the training for our apprentices and hopes to encourage their passion too.
Elaine – Head Stylist
Elaine is one of our longer-standing stylists being part of the GREYS family since 1996 in a variety of roles! She loves meeting new people and enjoys making them feel happy. Elaine’s infectious laugh can be heard throughout the salon and her attention to detail leaves an effortless timeless finish on all her clients!
Ayshe – Principal Stylist
Ayshe has been part of the GREYS team for 3 years but part of the hairdressing industry for 12. Having recently completed L’Oréal Colour Specialist degree (and passed with flying colours achieving 98%!) if you’re looking for a new colour Ayshe is your girl! Equally, if its product advice you’re after she’s got you covered. She will start her Maternity leave in June 2023, so be sure to book your appointment before she goes.
Alice – Head stylist
Alice joined Greys in 2021 with 10 years experience in the industry. Previously a colour technician with Goldwell achieving their Colour Masters qualification, she is a confident and skilled colourist – specialising in blondes, balayage and ‘lived in’ colour. During an appointment with Alice, you can expect excellent customer service, attention to detail with both colour and cutting, a wealth of knowledge and a relaxing experience.
Josh – Principle Stylist
Josh has been part of the Greys team since 2022 and loves creating different shapes and textures with his cuts. He’s a great colourist and enjoys softer more natural looks as well as more creative bold colours. He prides himself on his customer service ensuring that every client is attentively cared for and will always go above and beyond to ensure his clients are always satisfied.
Emily – First Year Apprentice
Emily has been with Greys since she was 14 working as a Saturday assistant and is now in her final stages of completing her apprenticeship with us. She is a creative girl and is keen to progress within the industry and would love to assist at London fashion week one day. Emily also gives a great head massage.
Nancy – First year apprentice
Nancy joined us in 2022 as a Saturday assistant and is now one of our full-time apprentices in her first year of training. Nancy also gives a great head massage and is excelling in all aspects of her training so far.
Lauren – Salon Assistant
Lauren joined the Greys team in early 2023 and is in her final year studying hairdressing at Hitchin college. Lauren loves all aspects of colouring and plans to join us on a permanent basis after finishing her course.
Chloe – Salon Assistant
Chloe is the newest member of the Greys team and helps us in the salon alongside her course at Cambridge college. Chloe is in her first year of studying hairdressing and is enjoying colour work. She was inspired to do hairdressing from observing other family members who are in the industry
